This series supports a maximum stitch length of 9mm (optional 12mm) and can operate with Nm10/3 thread (or Nm5/3 when using 12mm stitch length). The powerful compound feed mechanism ensures reliable feeding across multiple layers of leather, canvas, technical textiles, and other tough materials.

With a maximum sewing speed of 3,000 RPM (1,500 RPM for 12mm stitch length), the LU960 balances productivity with precision. Its presser foot alternation of 9mm allows for smooth handling of bulky seams, while the 32mm large hook increases bobbin capacity by 70%, reducing downtime.

The LU960 series is fully equipped with automatic functions, including thread trimmer, backtacking, pneumatic foot lift (PFL), half-stitch positioning (HP), knee presser foot lifter, and LED lighting. For advanced operations, models with the edge cutter (C version) provide precise trimming with a cutting size of 1.2–2.5mm.
